
You will need:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegan butter (you could also use vegan margarine)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon water
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and water until fully combined.
4. Mix in the flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time.5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Roll the dough into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges of the cookie are golden brown.
